This is how it all started…

It started somewhere between diaper changes, burnt dinners, and asking myself “Did I shower today?” (Spoiler: I didn’t.)

I’ve been a mom for 20 years — yep, my firstborn is officially an adult, which basically means I’ve earned a PhD in parenting chaos. But here I am, starting over with a toddler and juggling everything in between. And one day, mid-laundry and mid-coffee (because I never finish either), I thought… Why not write this madness down?

Mom’s Truth Unfiltered was born during one of those classic mom moments: kids yelling in the background, kitchen a mess, me typing with one hand while the other held a snack hostage until nap time. I realized motherhood isn’t just one phase — it’s layers of love, mess, laughter, and WTF moments that never really stop, just evolve.

So here we are. This blog is my therapy, my creative outlet, and my way of telling other moms: You’re not alone, and no, it’s not just you.
